Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known role was Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio and she continued her love of the theatre. She attended theatre classes at Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career in Chicago-area theatres for a short time. After that, she switched to film and television. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big role in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as a guest star in a few TV movies and shows like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she appeared in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood that was shot between 2000 and 2001. Skyler was her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn was on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn also participated in an audio-play series called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on his relationship with Skyler are mirrored in the television show.
